Bring Your Halloween Candy - Candy Drive!
trick-treat-bucket.jpgMake your Halloween candy last longer and bring a smile to homeless children.  Donate your leftover Halloween candy or consider donating some of what you collect on Halloween night.  The candy will be used by a local nonprofit, Bright Blessings, which provides birthday parties for children at the People Serving People (the largest shelter in Minneapolis).  The candy will be used to fill goody bags for the birthday parties.  For more information about the organization, visit www.brightblessingsusa.org or visit the local chapter's facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/www.brightblessingsmpls.org
Please drop your candy donations to the office at Gleason Lake Elementary on Monday, November 3rd , during conferences and Wednesday, November 5th, through Friday, November 7th.

Because of allergies, we ask that parents drop off donations to the office and do not have students bring candy on the bus.
