Monday, January 20th, we celebrate Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day!

MLK

Dr. King made the ultimate sacrifice, leading the cause which he held so dear and which our nation has only begun to realize - that our diversity is our strength and that none of us should be excluded from the opportunity to live the American Dream.

Dr. King stood for many ideals, but one consistent theme across his messages was the need for action. In his words: "Human progress is neither automatic nor inevitable. Even a superficial look at history reveals that no social advance rolls in on the wheels of inevitability."

Here are five great ways to honor Dr. King's legacy today - and every day:
        1. Give Something
        2. Learn Something
        3. Teach Something
        4. Commit to Something
        5. Dream Something.

*PLEASE NOTE THAT FAMILY CENTRAL WILL BE CLOSED IN OBSERVANCE OF DR. MARTIN LUTHER KING JR., DAY ON MONDAY, JANUARY 20, 2014.  WE WILL RESUME REGULAR BUSINESS HOURS ON TUESDAY, JANUARY 21, 2014.
