The Creative Curriculum System
The Early Learning Coalition is proud to announce two exciting training opportunities for School Readiness providers to learn how to establish and implement The Creative Curriculum for FREE! This summer, Teaching Strategies is presenting two trainings on The Creative Curriculum for local child care centers.  In addition, the Coalition is offering incentives upon the completion of these trainings to include curriculum materials and stipends to assist in the purchasing of The Creative Curriculum.

 

Teaching Strategies Proudly Presents...

Establishing a Creative Curriculum Program: Infants, Toddlers, and Twos
 

Teachers will explore the components that form the framework of The Creative Curriculum for Infants, Toddlers & Twos and learn how to make the most of daily routines and experiences. By the end of the session, teachers will know how to use the objectives for development and learning to plan a responsive and developmentally appropriate program.

Date: July 21 & 22

Time: 8:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. with 1 hour lunch break 

Cost: FREE

In-Service: 12 Hours 

Location: Living Love Early Childhood Center

Implementing The Creative Curriculum for Preschool (Teachers)

This session looks at all aspects of The Creative Curriculum for Preschool and prepares teachers to successfully implement the curriculum in their classrooms.

Date: August 4 & 5 

Time: 8:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. with 1 hour lunch break 

Cost: FREE  

In-Service: 12 Hours 

Location: Living Love Early Childhood Center

Statewide School Readiness List of Approved Curricula
The Creative Curriculum
is just one of the many great curricula posted on the statewide list of approved SR curricula.  If you are looking to purchase a new curriculum for your center, you do not want to miss these trainings. Coalition staff is here to assist you in implementing an approved developmentally appropriate curriculum at your child care site. If you have any questions about the SR curriculum requirement, please contact Carolyn Kovanis at 727-400-4463. In addition, don't forget to submit your SR Curriculum Selection Form by July 11. We need this form in order to assess the need for curricula in our community.
