Dear Early Educators,
Provider Appreciation Day is a special day to recognize child care providers, teachers and other educators of young children. Today we celebrate YOU and your commitment to the children and families of Pinellas County.
Each day, you take on the challenge and responsibility of cultivating the minds of our community's most precious resource, our young children. You are building the foundation of success in your centers and homes. It is because of your educational programs, the children of Pinellas County are entering school ready to learn and exceeding expectations.
We are not the only people to recognize the importance of your hard work and contributions to high quality care. The Pinellas Board of County Commissioners has proclaimed Friday, May 10, 2013 as Provider Appreciation day. Pinellas County is home to more than 860 child care programs that support working families. You make a significant impact on our local economy by providing safe and reliable child care, therefore making it possible for many parents to stay employed.
The Coalition is proud to partner with hundreds of outstanding child care providers in our community. Below are links to additional Provider Appreciation Day recognition from around the state.
Once again, THANK YOU for all that you do and enjoy your special day!
Sincerely,
Janet Chapman Julie Daniels Chief Executive Officer Chair, Early Learning Coalition Board of Directors
