Sr. Girls Breakfast

The mother/daughter/grandmother breakfast was held Sunday at Envie Restaurant in Thibodaux, with speaker Rachel Harris Husbands '92.

While attending E. D. White, Husbands was a member of the Cardinalettes, Colorguard, Teens for Life, Campus Ministry, Girls Service Organization and the National Honor Society.  She attended Louisiana State University from 1992-1996 and was involved in the Catholic Student Center, Tri-Delta sorority, LSU Ambassadors, and Scotch Guard Service Organization.

After graduating from LSU with a degree in Microbiology, she taught at Vandebilt Catholic High School for one year teaching Biology and Religion. She then moved to Dallas, TX, where she received a Master of Occupational Therapy degree from Texas Women's University in 2001.  After living in Texas for 10 years, she moved back to Thibodaux in 2008 with her husband Jona and their four children.  Currently, she works as an Occupational Therapist with Thibodaux Regional Medical Center and Home Health.

The breakfast is sponsored by the E. D. White Catholic Alumni Association and is meant to kick off the start of the graduation season and to set aside time for the different generations of the E. D. White family to visit and appreciate the importance of one another.
