Equality Rally 2013 - We Need You!

An equality rally will be held on the steps of the Kentucky Capitol on Saturday, February 23, 2013 beginning at 3:00 PM.

Kentucky Equality Federation will be joined by one member organization, Marriage Equality Kentucky, and an allied organization, Kentuckians Against the War on Women.

Saturday was chosen so that students and people who are normally at work during the week can attend and have your voice heard!

Please RSVP using the Facebook Event Page. If you do not have a Facebook account, please contact us to let us know you will be attending and how many people you will be bringing! Kentucky Equality Federation is also joined by Kentuckians Against the War on Women for this fundamental civil rights rally.

Since 2005 Kentucky Equality Federation has served as public advocate for people discriminated against and disenfranchised.

From protesting Governor Fletcher and later Representative Fischer for saying 'gays had not suffered enough,' sponsoring a Soulforce Equality Ride, forcing school boards to allow Gay-Straight Alliances, rallying at Northern Kentucky University and the Hazard Pavilion forcing policy changes, organizing the first gay marriage license in Lexington and Louisville, restoring the Kentucky AIDS Drug Assistance Program (KADAP) to successfully pushing the first federal hate crime, the work if Kentucky Equality Federation is critical to the citizens of Kentucky.

Financial Help

Kentucky Equality Federation also offers financial assistance to qualified individuals who need help paying for rent, utilities, life-saving medications, and other essential items as our budget permits.
