SAFETY AT SEA SYMPOSIUM

"It was one of the best seminars I've attended" (John Rousmaniere, Moderator)

"Best Safety at Sea Seminar I've ever been to"

"Have done Marion Bermuda Race six times - still learning - especialy liked the Steering information"

"Race from Hell was very helpful - the audience participation was great.  Liked the problem solving, especially interesting and dynamic"

Over 300 enthusiastic sailors attended the Safety at Sea Seminar on March 23rd.  The on-water and modern venue at U. Mass/Boston made for a delightful day and was enhanced by experienced speakers and marine suppliers who were available all day to answer questions and offer prepartory advice.

The highlight of the day seemed to be the interactive "Voyage from Hell" lead by Bill Biewenga, who posed five scenarios to a panel of attendees and asked everyone to share how they would deal with the dilemmas at sea.

We offer many thanks to Moderator, John Rousmaniere, all of our guest speakers, our Exhibitors, our engaged attendees, and the many volunteers behind the scenes who made this such a great event!
