From the Principal's Desk
Dear Parents,

Our district is a very busy place this time of year!  We are about to open our new online student registration system that was announced in our recent Primer.  We are hoping this system will be efficient, provide better information, and eventually eliminate all those paper forms you fill out for us!

For the first time, returning students will be required to provide at least one proof of residency document each year.  Families will be asked to submit a current lease or a copy of their last real estate tax bill.

Please watch for our communication about this!  You will be receiving mail or an email with directions for accessing our new system.

On May 15th, District 90 will hold a meeting at Roosevelt School to talk about Advanced Differentiated Learning, which is referred to as "ADL".  Our Superintendent's Leadership Council spent this year analyzing our current programs and practices in order to develop a clear definition of our next steps as we implement our vision of meeting the instructional needs of all our children, including those who struggle to meet grade level expectations, to those children who are gifted and talented.   All our children deserve our best work to improve our services to them.  Our district will provide excellent and current professional development and materials that will facilitate our ability and commitment to helping children reach their highest potential and become life-long learners!

Please come join us for more information about ADL at Roosevelt School on Wednesday evening at 7:00 p.m.
