Have you seen it? Did you notice during this beautiful weekend what's happening to the trees and the leaves? Yes, they are just starting to change color here in the New York region, and yo know what that means. Fall is here in full swing, and with it, dropping temperatures, thicker clothes coming out of the closet, and less light each day. Of course, if you're in the Southern hemisphere then the exact opposite is true. Where ever you are,one thing is certain, this is the time of year for change. You may try to resist it, but no matter what you do, change will come nonetheless. Let's all learn to embrace change with more joy and curiosity instead of fear, and watch what a difference it will make in your life! Master Say Sheppard is a past guest on the Double Diamond Hour and has just returned to American after 10 years of training in South Korea on the art of danjeon (tantien) breathing for wellness.
He is a direct disciple of Suroso Mun, who wrote over 20 books on reaching enlightenment through the Korean Seon Taoist tradition. Say just wrapped up a tour in S. Africa and has released a new DVD series and book called FeelBetterOnYourOwn. He will share with you simple, effective and time-proven exercises and breathing methods that anyone of any age can do to release stress and pain and get back their clarity, stamina and health.
The workshop will include:
- basic five element exercises that include rotating joints, shaking, rubbing, tapping, kicking, laughing to move stuck energy and detox the body.
- posture meditations to open the skeleton of the body
- locating and breathing from your danjeon (tantien) spot in a lying position in order to root it.

Understanding relationships and managing blockages with parents, children, man and woman and life issues (abundance, work, creativity, health ..)
Family constellation is a powerful method that helps up identify the unconscious behaviour that leads us to sufferings in relationships between parents, children, man and woman, and guides us to understand, heal, and move forward to more conscious love and freedom, once balance has been restored in the family system.
Created by German therapist Bert Hellinger, the core of the work is the discovery of laws that governs family in every culture as in any system to reach balance and harmony:
- Law of order
- Law of belonging or non exclusion
- Law of balancing: give and receive.
When the laws are not respected unconsciously by a family members, usually out of love or "blind love", unbalance takes place and sufferings occurs.
In bringing those hidden dynamics into light, we can modify to establish a more natural way of love to flow. Family constellation is set with a group of people but also works as in individual sessions where symbols like cushions are used.
In group sessions, the client help the use of the participants to create his or her own constellation. The participants are representing and a living model of the members of the family with feelings and thoughts similar to the actual family members.
Once we have discovered those laws, we can help the person to flow with it, then we can guide the client to move beyond those family entanglements, be more conscious, grateful for his human experience and flowing with what life has to offer with more joy, peace and love.
