Welcome to the Talking Alternative 2013 Newsletter!
In New York we are experiencing a cool break from the summer heat, and this past weekend was one of beautiful white & blue skies, pleasant walks in the park, and an all around calmness in the City. Our recent guest, Jagadish, held his events and will be traveling for the next couple of weeks before coming back to New York for one day and will then return to his home in California. We appreciate all of his wonderful teachings and healings, and wish him well on his travels.

First up, it's The Double Diamond Hour with w/Sam Liebowitz: This week, Sam talks to Roar Sheppard, a master of the art of Danjeon Breathing and a Second Life Institute Self-Awareness Coach. Having grown up in San Francisco, Roar became familiar with several oriental health practices and medicines. He knew they could do things that Western medicine fails at, such treating the low back pain that plagued his life for years. Determined to find a solution, his personal quest for relief led him to South Korea in 2002, and the study of Danjeon Breathing. After trying a multitude of Western and Eastern modalities, Danjeon Breathing was the only thing that worked for Sheppard. It was then he resolved to become a master of this ancient method, and to bring this wisdom back to America. Roar has recently released a new book and video series about Danjeon Breathing for Wellness called FEELBETTERONYOUROWN. It includes all of the healing methods that have been used for thousands of years in S. Korea, including danjeon breathing, the five elemental exercises, and information about one's unique body type. Some people have reported

You might not see this change in your Gmail yet, as Google is rolling it out to users over time, but if you haven't, just know that pretty soon your inbox is going to look and behave very differently.
**IMPORTANT** You need to make a quick change (it will take you less than 5 seconds!) to ensure that you can continue to receive emails from us in your main inbox.
If your Gmail doesn't look different yet, we urge you to flag this email so that when it does you'll have easy access to the following instructions.
And if it does look different, we hope you'll take five seconds to quickly make this small adjustment so you don't miss anything from us in the future.
There are two ways to handle this issue.
The first, simplest and safest is this:
- Step 1: Go to the Settings box in the upper right hand corner of your inbox and click on "Settings."
- Step 2: Click on the "Inbox" tab, then simply un-check the "Promotions" box and save your changes.
Once you do this, our emails will come directly to you just as they always have!
Here's the other way you can handle this if you decide you want to use the "Promotions" inbox for other things:
- Step 1: Simply drag this email from the "Promotions" inbox to the "Primary" tab.
- Step 2: Click "YES" when the alert pops up.
Now, regardless of which method you've used, Gmail will know we're connected and you'll still receive our emails in your "Primary" inbox as usual.
