Next, we proudly introduce Sexy Body Sassy Soul with Anna Kowalska, our newest show, dedicated to empowering women to ask for and receive what they truly want in love, life and business! This week: Dance like no one is watching? Not for our guest! This week we are getting inspired with Allison Brzezinski, who is making her vision of creating a dance company and helping other women share their message of empowerment through dance, a reality. She is a creator of ChEckiT!Dance, a project that once a year brings talented women dancers and choreographers from all over the world to Central Park for a special performance. If you are local or visiting NYC, check out the powerful ladies of ChEckiT!Dance this Saturday July 11th at 5pm at Summit Rock in Central Park. And this Thursday, listen in and get inspired by Allison sharing her vision and dream, and how she is making it happen no matter what! Allison Brzezinski (Artistic Director) graduated from Muhlenberg College with a BA in theatre and a BA in dance, with an extensive focus in choreography. In addition, she studied abroad at Accademia d'ell Arte in Arezzo, Italy. There she trained in the arts of clowning, physical theatre, acrobatics, mask making, commedia del arte, Feldenkrais movement and The Roy Hardt Vocal technique. Merging her love of theater, and movement, she founded the all female modern dance company ChEckiT!Dance, where she currently serves as the Artistic Director and Resident Choreographer. She has worked as a choreographer, teaching artist and arts administrator in a variety of notable theater and dance companies including Primary Stages, White Wave Dance Company, Children's Theatre Company, FringeNYC, Planet Connections Theater Festivity, Parsons Dance and New York International Ballet Competition. Allison has also collaborated with director Greg Taubman on three projects including East of The Sun, performed in Central Park, and The Dogs of Babel at Columbia University and Antigone, at Columbia University and The Connelly Theater. Allison is also proud to be a part of the Peer Leadership Circle for Dance mentorship program, produced by Queens Council on the Arts. She has spoken all over the country as well, from institutes such as Vanderbilt University and Goucher College, to bookstores like Barnes & Noble and Awakenings. Greg Roach is a lifelong student of comparative religion and spirituality. Greg had a visionary experience of the transcendent unity behind all creation during a pilgrimage to Egypt in 1997. Subsequently, he answered Spirit's call to offer initiatory pilgrimages to like-minded souls, building on 10 years of sacred travel in Egypt, the Holy Land, Greece, France, Scotland, America, Bali, Eastern Europe and England. He also podcasts both Meditations for America and Spirit of Place. In the exoteric world, Greg holds an MFA in directing and is a successful entrepreneur and inventor who holds multiple patents. He is a high-level Rosicrucian (Fratre Rosae Crucis), a graduate of the Flower of Life and Earth-Sky training and, most recently, the Science of Mind foundation courses at The Agape International Spiritual Center.
