Welcome to the Talking Alternative 2013 Newsletter!
We just want to all of our listeners near and far a very Happy 4th of July! It has been over 200 years since this little experiment call the United States was started, and we are very grateful to say that this experiment is still going strong. This is not to say that there are not issues to be resolved, but the principles upon which this country was founded have inspired Billions of people over it's life time, and will continue to do so. Let us all give thanks, pray for an even brighter future, and do our part to make that future a reality!
In honor of the 4th of July we will have live Thursday shows, but you can tune in to rebroadcasts of last week's shows at their regular time. We will resume our live programming on Friday, July 5th.

Patel has lectured widely on yoga at international venues including Cornell University, New York University, Columbia University, The New School, Long Island University, and the Sai Baba Center in Trinidad, Yoga Teachers Association of New York, and the Cerebral Palsy Foundation. He has served as a yoga consultant for corporations and institutions such as Fountain House and Jhane Barnes, Inc. and a subsidiary of Boston Consulting Group.
