All psychological energy can be both positive and negative, depending on how we use it. How we use it depends on our level of awareness. Putting ourselves in the position of the perceived adversary helps us to understand why others consider us to be a threat to them. Is our enemy only a projection of our own dark side? Are we projecting our own shadow onto the society that we want so desperately to accept us? Compulsive and chronic anger is but the mask of a deeper fear. Perhaps at this point in our collective society, we are reaching a point of confronting our own suppressed anxiety that is currently beyond our understanding. It manifests as an outward projection of what we call the archetype of "The Bully." Remember many years ago there was a comic strip in the newspapers called "Pogo." In one important episode he said: "We have met the enemy, and the enemy is US!" The first step against bullying is to educate ourselves as a culture. Why do people become bullies? What is the role of our media and entertainment industry in the proliferation of this problem? What steps can we take to help the bully make positive changes?Our guest on this week's broadcast is CINDY S.
