Disaster Preparedness Workshop Tonight!

In response to hurricane Sandy and the damage caused by it, a Workshop is being held on December 3rd, 2012, on Disaster Preparedness, to help people prepare wisely for the increasing severe weather and geological disruptions forecast for the years ahead.
The world is rapidly changing. The severity and frequency of storms, earthquakes, and weather anomalies are becoming the new norm. The potential damages and disruptions caused by these events can be minimized with careful planning. If we are to survive, we have to adapt to the changing conditions-not in fear, but in a sense of practicality.
Preparedness includes being able to grow several pounds of food in 2 days; to purify or distill lake water & seawater without electricity; to protect your food, medicine & water; and much more.
The guest speaker, Anthony Canelo, is an expert in disaster survival, an herbalist, author & creator of the first NATURAL EMERGENCY EDUCATION & MEDICINE

In an effort to keep this group on a steady track, I am scheduling the next event for the beginning of December. November is really busy, so I have pushed it to next month so this way everyone can enjoy their Thanksgiving, and then we can get together after and re-charge our batteries.
So our topic for the next meeting is....
Do the holidays bring you down instead of up?
This is much more common than you might think, and it has a lot to do on where our focus is drawn during this time of year. Want to put more fun back into the holidays? Want to actually look forward to this time of year, instead of dreading it? Then come on out to what is sure to be a fun-filled, joyous time with your fellow co-creators!
For now, I am scheduling the meeting at the wellness center, but as soon as I can confirm a larger, more comfortable space, I will update the listing.
So please, spread the word, bring some friends, and let's have an incredibly great time and raise our vibrations as we coast through to the end of 2012, and on to 2013! This will be the last meeting for our group this year, so make sure to attend and give yourself the gift of a happy holiday season!
