In the last couple of issues of CNAV, we mentioned we would have a big announcement coming soon and to stay tuned. Although we were hoping to make the announcement in this issue, not everything is in place so here is a hint.

Despite our brand name CruiseOne, we do offer more than just cruise vacations! (
Read article first and be sure to watch the video at the end.)

Years ago, a cruise vacation was basically considered all-inclusive with accommodations, food, entertainment, and shipboard activities included in the price.

Today, although your basic meals, entertainment and activities are still included for the price you pay, the ships have gotten larger and more crowded (up to 6500 guests in some cases). The cruise lines keep adding more and more options that incur an additional charge such as gourmet specialty dining. On some ships, there are now more "extra charge" dining options (with pricing ranging from $10-$100+) than included ones.

Don't misunderstand us, a cruise vacation will always offer a wonderful value and experience and for those who love the peace and serenity of being on the sea, visiting several new places during a trip, and unpacking just once that cannot be beat.

However, just because our name is CruiseOne, many of you may not realize that we are also able to offer our clients exceptional vacation experiences at resorts throughout the Caribbean and elsewhere with many being truly all-inclusive. Some resorts are for families and others are for adults only.

At an All-Inclusive Resort, alcoholic "top shelf" (spirits, beer, and wine), sodas, bottle water, specialty coffees, specialty gourmet dining experiences, nightly dancing and entertainment, and even non-motorized water toys for guests' use are all included in the price paid. Of course, like a cruise ship, optional spa and off-site excursions are available for those who wish to take advantage of those venues.

Most all-inclusive resorts are located on or at a beach (many are private) so there are both pools and beaches to enjoy during your stay, and there are also areas where you are away from kids (even at the family resorts).

The Resort packages we secure for you will even include your round trip air. Like a cruise, resort packages can be as few or as many nights as you want to book.

The 2016 Sail with Al & Helen Cruise
on the beautiful MSC Divina April 23-30
has actually become the Sail with Al, Helen, Dave, Carol, Bob, Susan, Tim and Diane cruise. We had a wonderful time on the ship in December over the Christmas Holiday.

To all who are booked on the cruise in April with the 8 of us, we are looking forward to having a wonderful time (again). We are planning an exciting private event during the cruise with great prizes.

For others who are still looking for an April getaway, call your agent to find out about this one. We would love to have you join us!

Here is an interesting option if you want a cruise ship but are worried about getting Sea Sick.

At first glance, it looks like millions of pounds of ocean liner has run aground on the rocks.

Thankfully, the ship's setting is deliberate, as someone decided to take the full cruise experience and drop anchor on dry land for the first hotel of its kind.

The Sun Cruise Resort in Jeongdongjin, South Korea, is perfect for those who find the motion of the ocean leaves them feeling sea sick.

The town is said to be one of the most popular spots in South Korea to watch the sun rise across the Sea of Japan, especially on New Year's Day. The revolving bar at the top of the ship lets visitors gaze at a panoramic view of the horizon.

Guests at this South Korean resort enjoy all the fun of a cruise ship
without the motion in the ocean.

Guests can 'come ashore' and light up the barbecue in the ship's gardens

The Secret Word
for February is RESORT

Smiley laughing and a little humor to end with.......

Many of us mute the TV when commercials come on as they can be quite annoying. But, foreign advertisers do have a very good sense of humor. For example, click the red link below (and enjoy):
