With the busy Holiday Season fast approaching and 2015 just around the corner, we hope 2014 has been good for each of you.  So our best wishes for a very Happy Thanksgiving when you will no doubt continue to have more memorable moments!

 

Many of you who have completed a trip over the last few months have received our revised Welcome Home Questionnaire.  Thank to those who took the time to answer the few questions about the ship and excursions. You will find a few of those comments from the last few months included in the Client Recommendation section.

 We are always pleased to hear from our clients by email or phone and we want to thank you in advance for taking a few minutes to complete the short Welcome Home Questionnaire  we send via email after you return from a trip. We created this section (per our clients' request in a recent survey) as a way for our clients to share their experiences with others. We will only mention your name with permission. 
 
Anonymous said on a recent Alaska cruise: Our Favorite Port was Skagway and the White Pass & Yukon Rail trip. The Duck Boat tour in Ketchikan was enjoyable.
 
Bill & Gloria Rowell of TX recently went on the Brilliance of the Seas and rated it with 3 excellent and 2 very good. They said "the tour of Peggy's Cove purchased through CruiseOne. Passenger Van with driver and only 6 passengers. Tour was 4 hours and much longer becomes tedious. Enjoyable and knowledgeable tour leader/driver."  

 

The Chessin's of NJ on a recent Canada/New England trip on the Royal Princess said "Bar Harbor is a favorite. We enjoy Acadia National Park and you can find the best ice cream we've ever had at C 7 J on Main Street. This was our 3rd time on this itinerary and we enjoyed all the ports except St John - not much to do and wonder why they stop there?

 

The food on Royal was outstanding, definitely a cut above what we've been experiencing lately on Princess. We love the new layout in the Horizon Court and they offered many, many more choices. We never experienced crowding. (Editor note: The Horizon Court is the buffet on Princess ships.)

 

Nadeen White and Parish Underwood of GA on their very memorable cruise on the Norwegian EPIC in the Mediterranean (details to follow) said Favorite port was Cannes and Majorca because the ship docked right in those cities. They highly recommend the Highlights of Nice and Monaco booked through the Norwegian Excursion Department.

 

But why was it so extra memorable? Congratulations are in order as Parish "popped the question" during the cruise and Nadeen accepted. Wish we had a picture to share."

 

Gwen Cavalancia of FL on a recent trip on Queen Elizabeth said: "Speaking personally, I enjoyed the atmosphere and traditions aboard the QE. It suited my preferences and desires and I enjoyed the ships provisions and cleanliness. I felt comfortable and at home in its understated elegance."

ENGLISH  LESSON              

 

No English dictionary has been able to adequately explain the difference  between COMPLETE and FINISHED. However, in a recent linguistic conference held in London, England, and attended by some of the best linguists in the world: Samsundar Balgobin, a Guyanese, was the clear winner.

 

His final challenge was this: "Some say there is no difference between COMPLETE and FINISHED. Please explain the difference between COMPLETE and FINISHED in a way that is easy to understand."

  

Here is his astute answer:

 

"When you marry the right woman, you are COMPLETE. But, when you marry the wrong woman, you are FINISHED.

 

And when the right one catches you with the wrong one, you are COMPLETELY FINISHED!"
