Alumni Family BBQ
All Collingwood alumni, alumni parents, alumni faculty, and alumni staff are invited to join us at our first family summer party at our Wentworth Campus on June 14, 2015. Children are welcome at this afternoon event, so please bring the whole family. There will be play areas, a beer garden, and complimentary food. Most of the activities will be outside, so lets hope for beautiful weather and don't forget your sunscreen! Register Now!

Dads, Lads and Grads Rugby
Our annual alumni touch rugby game is booked for June 20, 2015! It will start at 3:30 pm at Klahanie Park, with drinks and appetizers for alumni to follow at Earls at 5:00 pm. Please let all your rugby alumni know! Register here by June 13. |
Alumni Basketball Event
All Collingwood Boys Basketball Alumni are invited to join us to play basketball and to say goodbye to Virgil Hill on his retirement from Collingwood on May 30, 2015 at the Morven Campus. Virgil has been a committed basketball coach at the school for the past eight years, and in that time brought the senior boys basketball team into the BC Double "AA"s. He now leaves us to coach for the SFU men's basketball team, his alma mater. The games start at 1pm and will go until 4pm. Complimentary food and a cash bar will be available. London Chapter Event
Michelle Embury and Brian McDonald from the University Guidance Department had a great time catching up with our London area alumni at the Builder's Arms Pub in London, UK on February 21, 2015. Nisaa Jetha '02, Megan Jennings '07, Simona Spassova '08, Matt McDonald '11, Michael DeLazzari '13, and Gabrielle Lunter, Jehna Devraj, Victoria McArthur, and Jack Shi, all 21014 grads, attended the event.

Meri Kimura '05, our Alumni Coordinator, hosted a get-together for some of our Collingwood alumni in Hong Kong on March 23, 2015. Eden Ho '94, Joel Liu '03, Cord Khron '03, Edmund Chan '05, and Ryan Jackson '05 had a fun evening catching up over food and drinks.

Boston Chapter Event
Shirley Frykberg, Caroline Dey, Jen Dousett, Stephen Garland, and Andrew Wong were delighted to host an alumni get-together in Boston on April 28, 2015. Over good food and great conversation, they were able to reconnect with Harrison Sekhon '14, Rachelle Morris '08, John Choi '13, and Johnathan Longcroft '11. The faculty members were all invited to see Johnathan Longcroft's play, Middletown, the next evening which was enjoyed by all.
Alexander Kerfoot '12 who is currently enrolled in Economics at Harvard University, was not able to make it to the alumni get-together but offered to show the teachers around Harvard. Headmaster Rodger Wright and his wife, Louise, hosted an alumni event at the Four Seasons Hotel in Toronto, ON on May 1, 2015. 30th Anniversary Gala
Collingwood School's 30th Anniversary Gala was held at the new Morven Campus on May 9, 2015 and we were honoured to have nine of our Founders in attendance, including four members of the Founding Board of Governors: Founding Chair Laura Groos, Founding President Nick Geer, and Founding Governors Lynn McCaw and Dr. Ian Morgan. Other Founders in attendance were Penny Geer, Sheila Plumb, and Rob, Bev and Tim '96 O'Neill. The Gala was also supported by Founder James Duess '92 and his business, Park Shore BMW, through a generous donation to the silent auction of a BMW Mountain Bike. |
