The Class of 1990 25 Year Reunion is booked for May 30th, 2015 at the Beach House in West Vancouver. 

Invitations will be going out in the New Year. Please save the date and spread the word!

The 15 Year Reunion of the Class of 1999 was held on October 17th, 2014 at the Republic Nightclub. There was a great turnout and everyone enjoyed delicious food, good company and the chance to catch up with old friends.

The 10 Year Reunion of the Class Of 2004 was held on November 15th, 2014 at the Granville Room. As you can see, they had a great time reconnecting with old friends.

Calling for Nominations for 2014 Alumni Awards

Mackenzie Awards 
Established in 2007, the Mackenzie Awards recognize Collingwood alumni who have exhibited outstanding excellence in one of the four strands (Academics, Arts, Athletics or Service).

Alumni Association Honours Award 
Established in 2013, the Honours Awards recognize outstanding accomplishments as a result of business or professional achievements, or the display of great courage in the face of adversity.

Alumni Association Volunteer Award 
Established in 2013, the Volunteer Awards recognize service to the Alumni Association and/or to Collingwood School.
 
If you wish to nominate a Collingwood alum for any of the above awards, please send in a completed Nomination Form to [email protected].

Victoria (bottom right) with the University of Edinburgh's Women's 1st Volleyball Team.
Victoria Turner '10 is currently attending the Royal Dick School of Veterinary Studies at the University of Edinburgh in Scotland. She is taking Farm Animal Medicine and Veterinary Public Health and continues to enjoy playing volleyball. 

Victoria reports that she has been getting a lot of practicals on post mortem inspection of sheep and cattle . . .  as she describes her studies, "not very glamourous, but interesting nonetheless!"


Katarina Angus '13 has decided to major in BEO ( Business, Entrepreneurship and Organizations) at Browns University. She plays on the women's field hockey team and was recognized on the official Brown Athletics website for earning an All-Ivy selections for the 2014 seasons. They wrote:

"Angus earns Honorable Mention All-Ivy honors this season after posting the game-winning goal against Siena on Oct. 5 and registering three assists.  The sophomore has posted totals of four goals and four assists, while appearing in all 34 games of her two-season career."

Congratulations to Janet McLachlan '95, a former recipient of the Mackenzie Award for Athletics, on recently being awarded the 2014 Canadian Wheelchair Sports Association (CWSA) Female Athlete of the Year award. 

"2014 CWSA Female Athlete of the Year: [she] is arguably the best female wheelchair basketball player in the world. This June, she proved it by leading Team Canada to a gold medal at the 2014 IWBF Women's World Championships. [She] also sunk the game-winning shot in the semi-finals against the Netherlands while being double-teamed with 0.9 seconds on the clock. For her performance, McLachlan was named to the World Championship All Star team."
