COLLINGWOOD PROUDLY PRESENTS: I WANT IT ALL! FASHION SHOW Thursday, February 27th
It's almost here! The Collingwood Parents' Council is pleased to present the I Want it All! Fashion Show on Thursday, February 27th at The Pinnacle Hotel in North Vancouver. Join us for a fabulous evening of fashion, food and fun. A cocktail reception, full dinner, live entertainment and fantastic raffle will set the stage for the main event: a runway fashion show featuring looks from Redfish Kids Clothing, Sofiabella and Unity Clothing. VIP tickets are now SOLD OUT but regular table seating is still available. Sponsorship opportunities are also still available for local businesses and our families. All monies raised through these fundraising efforts are used to enhance the educational experience of our children so please consider donating today. Bring your best girlfriends to cheer on our wonderful Collingwood parents, students and teachers who will be strutting their stuff on the runway, and pick up a few items for your Spring Break wardrobe! What great teams of volunteers we've had the last few months! With so many people helping out, it's great fun. We just need more returnables to keep our volunteers busy!
Reminder: NO DAIRY CONTAINERS AND NO OTHER HOUSEHOLD RECYCLING! Just beverage containers that can be returned for refund.
Also, if you are dropping off returnables, TURN ON YOUR HAZARD LIGHTS. This helps speed up the drop-off process.

UNISHOP
Thanks to our volunteers who helped make our January UniShop sale a great success. All the hard work collecting, sorting and selling certainly paid off, as we raised more than $2000!

CLASS AND GRADE REP INFORMATION MEETING
Last month our Reps were updated on upcoming Parents' Council events and services and also had the opportunity to learn more about the new Morven Campus and how we all can be a part of this exciting project. They were treated to a presentation by Rodger Wright and Susan Hazell which included the animated 'fly through' of the completed campus, a tour of the newly renovated Science Centre, a first-hand look at the construction site and detailed information about the Capital Campaign.

STAFF AND FACULTY APPRECIATION LUNCHEONS
On February 5th and 6th, the Morven and Wentworth Campuses were home to our annual Teacher Appreciation Luncheons. These luncheons are hosted by Parents' Council, on behalf of all parents, to thank staff and faculty for their hard work and dedication. A Chinese New Year themed lunch room, a menu full of fresh-out-of-the-wok delicacies and a table overflowing with homemade sweet treats are enjoyed by all!
Thank you to the Parents' Council Executive members who helped make these luncheons possible.
