We are excited to be back at School after a busy summer of tremendous progress in construction and in the capital campaign.
We're thrilled to let everyone know the campaign has surpassed $6.5 million raised to date! We are well on our way to our $10 million campaign goal thanks to the generosity of the Collingwood community. We have been overwhelmed by the support families have shown the school and the faith and commitment you have in our vision. We couldn't accomplish our goals for the School without your support.
The construction of the new School remains on schedule as Heatherbrae continued to work over the vacation. The steel frame of the future complex of gyms has now been installed and the School is beginning to take shape.

The campaign continues as the new school year begins. With the help of an ever-growing group of parent volunteers we will be giving each family the opportunity to be part of this chapter of Collingwood's continued growth. Each grade will have multiple parent volunteers known as Grade Champions who will help arrange face to face meetings for all parents. Grade Champions will help ensure every family will have the opportunity to become part of Collingwood's legacy.
A MESSAGE FROM KIRSTEN MORRISON
Founding student, Alumna '91, Current Parent, Donor . . .
the legacy continues
It is exciting to see Collingwood's continuing commitment to providing its faculty and students with the best facilities possible. We have come a long way from leasing the original Glenmore Elementary School!
I am a Collingwood alumnus and founding student, having graduated in 1991. I am proud for my two daughters who are currently attending the Wentworth campus and carrying on our family's Collingwood legacy. We are very happy with the education our daughters are receiving at the School. Each and every one of their teachers has been exceptional. We think the Collingwood staff should have the best educational facilities possible to support their efforts to shape our children's futures. The recent renovations at Wentworth have created a fantastic campus. Our daughters will be very fortunate to continue their education at the new Morven, which will be the best high school campus in B.C., if not Canada or North America.
We all have a wonderful opportunity to become part of Collingwood's growing legacy. While some families are able to contribute more than others, we think that everyone can contribute in different ways. We have benefitted from the changes at Wentworth and the amazing campus it has become. Together we can ensure that the Morven campus gets its turn and make Collingwood an even better place for our children and future generations of students.
