Greetings!
Happy April Fool's Day! It's been a while since I've sent out an "official" Sacred Offerings Newsletter, and many changes have taken place in my life and business.
After 4 years of working from the Healing Hands Wellness Center, I moved into a new office. I am now working from The Bhakti Holistic Medical Center in Auburn, CA. I offer in person and phone appointments on Mondays, as well as phone appointments on Thursdays.
Additionally, in November I moved to a new home about 10 miles up the road from my last house. The serene and private countryside, with the sounds of running water and rustling trees, is soothing to my soul!
As April and spring unfold, we are likely to continue to see many changes and growth in all of our lives!

SELF CARE
|
|
The art of bathing It may take a few extra minutes to fill your tub as opposed to a quick hop in the shower, but the end result - not to mention the journey itself - can be quite exquisite!
Ingredients:
- 1 cup salt - epsom salts, Himalayan bath salts or combo
- 10 drops essential oils - lavender, rose, or your favorite
- water - the hotter, the better for weary bodies & souls
- a lit candle (or two) - natural beeswax, preferably
- music - your choice
Fill the tub to 3/4 its capacity with hot water, adding the salts and oil. Set your candle on the sink, put your music within hearing distance and indulge!

AWAKENING
|
|
Worthiness Our challenge is to get that we are really, undeniably worthy. As we move into our awakening, we will likely be faced with situations that will try to prove to us, "See! I told you that you were (stupid, incapable... fill in your blank)!"
Breathe into that moment of doubt. Accept that you are uncertain about yourself, then in that moment, or perhaps after you are in bed, place your hands over your heart and say, "I am a worthy, lovable child of God/dess."
This is the practice.

SACRED LIVING

An unhurried awakening into the season of spring
The season of spring can be one of inspiring beauty for all of our
senses. Perhaps we notice trees presenting brightly colored blossoms,
bees hovering over lavender, the nearly forgotten sunshine promising
warmth and light, or the sound of croaking frogs as evening sets. What
we may not recognize, however, is the pace at which Mother Nature
transforms one season into another. Although it may seem like the sights
and sounds of spring emerge overnight, it is a remarkably slow and
gentle process. (Read More)

QUOTE OF THE DAY

Ram Dass "Our
whole spiritual transformation brings us to the point where we realize that
in our own being, we are enough."

As we launch into the season of renewal, I look forward to continuing my work - sharing my Sacred Offerings with you - as well as indulging in my own self care as I get settled into my new home.
If you have suggestions for future articles (I am now Examiner.com's National Sacred Living Examiner - please subscribe!), questions or comments about my Newsletter, please let me know.
