TCS recognized as a Top 100 Brand in the US by Brand Finance

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) was ranked in the upper most tier of the IT services industry, in tandem with its G  lobal #4 rank, as the 57th leading brand in the US by Brand FinanceŽ in its second annual Top 500 US Brands survey, which evaluates the financial value of a company's brand name, intellectual assets and trademark, as compared to companies across industries. TCS was recognized as a top four IT Services brand in the US - the same as its global ranking - and has an AA+ score for its brand strength, the sector's highest designation. Globally, TCS' brand value grew 271 percent from US$2.3 billion in 2010 to US$8.7 billion in 2015, marking the fastest growth across the IT Services industry during the period.

 

This study marks the first time that TCS has been ranked in the prestigious top 100 US brands list. Brand Finance integrates brand investment, brand equity and financial performance into its rigorous royalty relief research methodology. The approach works across all sectors, allowing brands to be benchmarked against each other and within their categories. Read more.

Eight O'Clock Coffee is the Recipient of Two Reggie Awards for their partnership with Warner Bros.
Tata Global Beverages' Eight O'Clock Coffee brand received two Reggie awards for their 2014 marketing partnership with Warner Bros. celebrating the 20th anniversary of the premiere of the TV show Friends.  Reggie Awards recognize the best marketing campaigns activated by brands and agencies as measured by laser focused and sound strategy, creativity, originality, integration and results.  Eight O'Clock, Warner Bros. and Source Marketing received a gold award in the partnership category and a bronze award in the sponsorship and licensed property category.  This partnership generated over 1.6 Billion earned media impressions for Eight O'Clock, introduced the brand to a younger consumer base and contributed to brand sales growth.

Jaguar Land  Rover To Support US Technology Start-Ups To Drive Infotainment Innovation

As Jaguar Land Rover reveals InControl Touch Pro, its next generation infotainment and connected car technology in the all-new Jaguar XF, it has announced a new initiative to support the development of future infotainment technologies in the US.

 

Jaguar Land Rover will now launch an 'Innovation Incubator' project in Portland, Oregon, to encourage, promote and support new software-based automotive technologies that are being developed by US technology start-ups.

 

The focus will be on finding innovators who have great potential ideas, but need Jaguar Land Rover's technical help to make these concepts a reality. The Innovation Incubator project begins in May 2015 with an outreach program to US universities. It will select around 120 start-up companies for Jaguar Land Rover to work with over the next decade. Red Bull Media House chooses Tata Communications as its Global Partner for Connectivity and Innovation
Tata Communications announced that it has been selected as the global connectivity and innovations partner by Red Bull Media House for its new television channel due to launch next year. Tata Communications has also been selected as the preferred media connectivity partner for the Red Bull events globally, transmitting live data over its fibre network to the Red Bull Media House HQ.

 

Red Bull Media House will use Tata Communications' Video Connect Service to ensure maximum uptime, reliability and premium quality of video delivery - optimising the consumers' viewing experience. The two companies will also work together in fostering innovation in service and product development for Red Bull Media House. Read more.

Tata Global Beverages was invited to represent the international business community in Maryland at the 2015 Select USA International Summit Reception.  At this summit,  over 2,500 investors, global CEO's,  senior U.S. leaders, economic development organizations and high-level government officials attend the two-day event to facilitate international investment in the United States.  

 

In the presence of over 220 international business leaders, national companies and state and local legislators, including newly elected Maryland Governor Larry Hogan, Nicole Mack, Volume Acquisition Manager of Tata Global Beverages gave a vibrant overview of the Tata Group, Tata Global Beverages and the success of their Eight O'Clock Coffee' brand's production facility in Maryland. Attendees learned of the international prowess of the Tata Group and the strong heritage of the Eight O'Clock Coffee brand located in their local community.  

The Success of Tata Volunteer Week - 3 

The Tata Volunteer Week - 3 in North America saw large participation of employees in various volunteering opportunities with partners such as First Book, CRY, Feed My Starving Children, American Heart Association, EarthCorps and American Diabetes Association. Tata volunteers took part in over 600 activities globally. Tata volunteers in North America donated their time to programs in Seattle, Honolulu, Chicago, New York, Cincinnati and San Diego, among other cities, making TVW-3 one of the most succsessful volunteering efforts among Tata Group companies in North America to-date.

United States Secretary of Transportation Meets Cyrus P Mistry


Anthony Foxx, United States Secretary of Transportation, met with Cyrus P Mistry, Chairman, Tata Sons, at the headquarters of the Tata group, in Mumbai, India, on April 10, 2015.

Taj Group Announces Opening of Taj Dubai


The Taj Group announced the opening of its highly anticipated luxury hotel Taj Dubai, located in the prestigious Burj Khalifa downtown area.
