TCS's goIT Student Technology Awareness Program Strengthens STEM Skills for 2,000 Teens in Toronto

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) celebrated its first Canadian goIT Student Technology Awareness Program at Cedarbrae Collegiate Institute. TCS worked with the Toronto District School Board to implement the innovative program in 10 Toronto schools this fall.
 

"TCS believes strongly in impact through empowerment," said Akhilesh Tripathi, head of the Canadian division of TCS. "Not only will these young people have more career choices, Canada's ICT industry will also benefit from having a local skilled labor force." Read more.

Tata Communications and Google Join Forces to Provide Businesses a Predictable Way to "Cloud Interconnect" over the Internet

Tata Communications announced that it has become a Google Cloud Platform Authorized Services Partner. Under the terms of this agreement, Google's new service, Google Cloud Interconnect will connect with Tata Communications' IZO™ Public, a cloud enablement service that provides a dedicated and deterministic route, for businesses, into Google's cloud.

TCS New York City Marathon Sets New Record
Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) saluted the city of New York and the relentless spirit of its five boroughs, in light of the inaugural and record breaking TCS New York City Marathon that 'ran' on November 2, 2014. A total of 50,564 runners made history as the world's largest number of marathon finishers, including the race's one millionth milestone finisher. Furthermore, the official TCS New York City Marathon app, created by TCS in partnership with New York Road Runners, was downloaded by more than 130,000 people on race day alone. Read more.
