Land Rover Unveils New Premium Compact Discovery Sport and Launches "Galactic Discovery" with Virgin Galactic
Land Rover unveiled the 2015 Discovery Sport, the brand's new premium compact SUV and first of the new Discovery family of vehicles, in a video hosted on LandRoverUSA.com. The new Discovery Sport debut video, shot at Spaceport America, New Mexico, was released in conjunction with the announcement of the Land Rover "Galactic Discovery" competition, offering groups of aspiring astronauts a chance to win a once-in-a-lifetime trip to space with three friends for the ultimate adventure. Read more.

Central Perk Pop-Up Creates "Friends" Frenzy in Lower Manhattan

Eight O'Clock Coffee, Warner Bros. Television Group and Warner Bros. Consumer Products have partnered to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the series premiere of
Friends, the hit television show, with a variety of unique experiences for fans and coffee lovers alike.

Headlining the celebration is a pop-up replica of "Central Perk," the neighborhood coffee shop frequented by the characters on the comedy series. The coffee shop, located at 199 Lafayette Street in lower Manhattan, will be serving free cups of Eight O'Clock Coffee - including their limited-edition Central Perk Roast, specially created for the occasion.

Additionally, fans can enter the "Friends Flyaway to New York" sweepstakes to win an all-inclusive trip to New York City. Read more.

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) announced that it has been recognized by Forbes as one of the World's Most Innovative Companies, positioned 57th overall as the highest-ranking global IT services provider on this year's top 100 list. The World's Most Innovative Companies List is developed annually by Forbes Magazine, recognizing corporate excellence in fostering innovative and creative business thinking and solutions. Companies are ranked by their 'innovation premium,' or the difference between their market capitalization and a net present value of cash flows from existing business.

Detroit Lions and Tata Technologies Launch STEM Programs in two Detroit Schools
Tata Technologies, Athletes for Charity and the Detroit Lions have joined forces to further expose Detroit Public School students to Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM), while also developing their skills in reading and writing.

"The demand for skilled workers in science, technology, engineering, and math is on the rise while the availability of qualified applicants is on the decline because students are not pursuing degrees and careers within the sector," said Alisa Harewood of Tata Technologies, a global engineering services company with North American headquarters located in Novi, Michigan.

The program aims to improve learning outcomes and student interest in science, technology, engineering and math, while creating pathways to success in post-secondary education and 21st century careers. Read more.
Tata AutoComp and Magna Enter into a Joint Venture
Tata AutoComp Systems (Tata AutoComp) and Magna International Inc. (Magna) have signed a 50/50 Joint Venture agreement to provide seating systems to the Indian commercial vehicle industry. The JV will be focused on delivering innovative seating systems to commercial vehicle manufacturers as well as buses.

Tata group in North America Builds on Tata Volunteering Week

Building on the success of the inaugural Tata Volunteer Week (TVW) hosted in March 2014, the Tata group launched the second worldwide Tata Volunteering Week on September 5th.  In the United States and Canada, September was declared as "Tata Volunteering Month."  Tata companies offered a variety of volunteer opportunities throughout the month, open to the participation of current employees as well as their family members and retired employees.

TVW is an international initiative dedicated to mobilizing employees, keeping with the group's longtime social commitment to the communities in which it operates. This initiative is part of "Tata Engage," a volunteering program designed to encourage Tata's global workforce of over 500,000 employees to donate time and expertise to help community members in need
