Jaguar Land Rover Debuts Three High Performance Models at the 2014 Pebble Beach Automotive Weekend

Jaguar Land Rover announced three product debuts at this year's Pebble Beach Automotive weekend: the new 550HP Range Rover Sport SVR, the U.S. production version of the Jaguar F-TYPE Project 7 and the prototype of the new Jaguar Lightweight E-Type. The Pebble Beach weekend gathered the world's top automotive aficionados, collectors and vintage racers together for a celebration of great performance, heritage and luxury automobiles.

All three vehicles are from Jaguar Land Rover's newly created Special Operations division which, under the leadership of Managing Director, John Edwards, will focus on designing and engineering high specification vehicles, bespoke commissions, heritage products and branded goods.  Read more.

Avis Car Rental and Budget Car Rental Partner with TCS

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), announced the recent completion of significant enhancements to a series of mobile applications developed on behalf of Avis Car Rental and Budget Car Rental. The upgraded mobile applications provide customers of the car rental companies with innovative new functionality, including synchronized pricing across channels (e.g., mobile, social, office location) to reflect customized preferences and insurance options, and more available ancillary products for in-app selection. Read more.
Tata group Partners with University of Maryland Robert H. Smith School of Business to Host 'Tata Dialogue on Innovation'
The Tata group recently hosted the latest "Tata Dialogue on Innovation" at The Pierre, A Taj Hotel, through its partnership with The Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland.

This program was the second in the dialogue series, and featured guest speaker Warren Harris, President and COO of Tata Technologies, for a conversation on the importance of innovation in product development. University of Maryland Alumni and CEO PepsiCo Americas Beverages, Albert Carey, moderated the discussion.

"With the global marketplace, consumers have more product choices than ever before," said Warren Harris. "Consequently, manufacturers are increasingly pushed to innovate in every aspect of the product development process to differentiate from the competition, which has created some truly remarkable advances." Read more.

Tata Global Beverages Supports 'Back to School with Dignity'

This month, employees at Tata Global Beverages' office in Montvale, New Jersey partnered with People-to-People -- Rockland County's largest food pantry -- to support the 'Back to School with Dignity' project. Back to School with Dignity is a program that provides children from low-income families with the tools they need to be successful in school. Montvale employees and their children helped raise funds for school supplies and fill backpacks. This year, People-to-People aims to provide nearly 2,500 children with backpacks filled with school supplies.
