Tata group companies were featured at the first-ever SelectUSA Investment Summit, which was hosted by the US Department of Commerce. Featuring remarks by President Barack Obama, Secretary of State John Kerry, US Trade Representative Michael Froman and other top administration officials, the two-day Summit promoted the US as the premier destination for global business investment. Kapil Sharma, Senior General Manager for Tata Sons Limited - North America, led a panel discussion at the Summit on 'Opportunities for Global Firms to Compete in the US Economy.'

Jaguar To Air Commercial During Super Bowl

Jaguar announced it will launch a new brand and product advertising campaign, themed "British Villains," for the launch of the new Jaguar F-TYPE Coupe. Taj Hotels Receives Condé Nast Traveler 2013 World Savers Award For Poverty Relief

Taj Hotels Resorts and Palaces has been named a 2013 World Savers Award winner by the American magazine, Condé Nast Traveler, as one of just 14 travel companies to be recognized for their exceptional achievement in social and environmental responsibility.
Taj Hotels receives the World Savers Award for Poverty Relief for its work with nonprofits to create jobs for thousands of youth in rural India, with training at its 36 vocational schools operated in conjunction with NGOs, followed by employment at one of its 102 properties throughout India.

Tata Companies Kick Off School Year Donating 10,000 Books to Ontario Students

The Tata group of companies recently announced a gift of 10,000 new books to Ontario schoolchildren through their partnership with award-winning nonprofit organization First Book. This is Tata's third gift of books in Canada and brings Tata's overall North American book donations to nearly a quarter of a million books. Tata established its partnership with First Book in December 2007 and has since provided close to 250,000 new books valued at approximately $1.5 million to children across North America. Education is perhaps the single-most important cornerstone of social and economic development.
