REMINDERS
Childcare is available during Yom Kippur Morning Services, 9:45 a.m. - 12:45 p.m. In order to ensure there is a spot for your child, you must make a reservation by 4:30 p.m. tomorrow, October 2. Please call Tamara at (203) 288-3877.
Reserved Seating is available for those with health or mobility concerns. The pews in front of the Rabbi's pulpit, closest to the doors, are reserved for this purpose. If you would like to reserve a seat please call the CMI office by 4:30 p.m. tomorrow, October 2 at (203) 288-3877.
CMI's Van and Caring Community are available to provide transportation for Morning & Evening Services. If you wish to get a ride, please call Merav at (203) 288-3877 by 4:30 p.m. tomorrow, October 2.

SUKKAH DECORATING
Come help make our sukkah a work of art that truly reflects us all -- this Sunday, October 5 from 12:00 noon-2:00 p.m. We'll provide some art supplies or you can bring your own. Contributions of craft supplies greatly appreciated.
Decorations might include: streamers, paper chains, posters, hanging decorations, origami, flowers/plants/vegetables from your garden, whatever you can think of!

SUNDAY MORNING YOGA
Sunday Morning Yoga has its first class this Sunday, October 5 at 9:45 a.m. This Vinyasa Flow class will focus on proper alignment, breath, and building strength and range of motion. All levels are welcome. Please bring your own yoga mat, a blanket, a towel, and a water bottle. The fee is $10 per class. Click here for more information.

Celebrate our CMI Community at the Evening of New Beginnings on Wednesday, October 15.
The celebration begins with a Congregational Dinner at 6:00 p.m. to welcome and honor those who have joined our community in the last year. All members are welcome. RELIGIOUS SCHOOL NEWS
 There will be a combined potluck breakfast for Pre K and Kindergarten families this Sunday, October 5 at 9:00 a.m. The Bar/Bat Mitzvah Retreat is the weekend of October 10-12. The students will have a pizza dinner before attending services and then heading up to camp. If you have not yet turned in your reservation forms, please call the office. There will be no Religious School on Sunday, October 12. Classes resume on Tuesday, October 14.
CMI High begins on October 19. The program meets monthly and is conducted in conjunction with Temple Beth David in Cheshire and Temple Emanuel in Orange. This year's theme is teaching our faith to others. Our partners are a Greek Orthodox church and mosque in Berlin. CMI High is open to 8th - 12th graders. Registrations are now due. YOUTH GROUP
MITYOR is conducting their annual Food Drive. Please bring a bag filled with nonperishable items on Yom Kippur. All donations will go to Jewish Family Services' Food Pantry.
As one of the first social events, MITYOR will be going to Flight CT on Sunday, October 12 at 1:00.
All teens in 9th - 12th grade are invited to join MITYOR. For more information, contact advisor Sam at mityor@cmihamden.org.

MINS NEWS
If you haven't registered for MINS yet, be sure to contact the office promptly. A number of classes are already full. MINS is unparalleled in flexibility and providing a loving, multi-cultural experience with a Jewish curriculum. Reflecting the CMI mission, the School incorporates social justice (tzedakah) projects.
