The 2014 update to Premiere Pro CC added an amazing new feature: Mask and Track.

This allows us to apply an effect to a clip, isolate that effect to a portion of the frame, then track that effect during the clip.

The easiest example is to use this to blur the identity of a person or logo as they are moving about the frame.

This video tutorial shows you how it works. This is REALLY cool!

In this video tutorial, I show you the new features, including a way to - finally! - measure the correct setting when creating AC3 files for a DVD using Dolby Dialog Normalization.

Here's a "new" feature in Compressor that I just discovered. (On the other hand, it might have been there for a long while and I just never noticed it before.)

Compressor shows you which Apple devices are compatible with the compression setting you are using.

This is a really helpful technique -- if you know where to look. In this article, I show you its secrets.
