Apple surprised media professionals everywhere with the Sneak Peek of the Mac Pro last week at the WWDC. My blog this week takes a closer look at what was announced and what more we can expect.
As I write this, Adobe is getting closer to the release of their new Creative Cloud software, and we are launching our training when Adobe releases their newest software; starting with Adobe Audition CC.
Plus, new winners in our contest, new articles, featured interview, and all kinds of other good stuff in this issue this week.
ANNOUNCING ADOBE AUDITION CC
VIDEO TRAINING
Over the last month, we've been working on creating new training to support the Creative Cloud product release from Adobe.
I'm delighted to announce that our first training is almost ready, covering Adobe Audition CC. This new training series includes 80 new movies recorded by me specifically for this new version.
This new training will appear first in our Video Subscription Library the same day that Adobe releases the new Creative Cloud products.
In about two weeks, we'll have this packaged up and available for sale in our store as a download. Upgrade pricing for existing store purchases will be announced at the same time.
I am really looking forward to sharing this new training with you. Keep your eyes on the Subscription Library page. When you see the "Adobe CC" button at the top, it's ready.
This is a perfect time to become a subscriber, as we update all our training to support Adobe's latest products.
Click here to become a subscriber. At only $19.99 per month and containing more than 600 movies, I guarantee you'll start learning new techniques almost immediately.
JOIN US FOR AN ADOBE PRELUDE CC
WEBINAR NEXT WEEK WEDNESDAYNext week, for our Wednesday webinar, we continue our coverage of the new Adobe releases with a detailed roll-out of the new Adobe Prelude CC. This application simplifies team-based editing by off-loading clip review, logging, and ingest to an editorial assistant.
Adobe has made significant changes to the application that first showed up with the CS 6 release. Join us next week to learn whether Prelude can make your editing life easier.

DIGITAL PRODUCTION BUZZ

Each week, I feature a different interview from our podcast:
Digital Production Buzz. This week, I want to feature our interview with
Sean Mullen, CEO of
Rampant Design Tools, from our June 13th show.
Sean is a long-time visual effects artist who's work has touched such acclaimed Hollywood and television productions as Charmed, Ally McBeal, NCIS, Felicity, Nip/Tuck, Idle Hands, Lake Placid and Any Given Sunday.
In this interview, we discuss the process of creating visual effects.

And, as always, I've updated our Top 3 lists.
