Graduation
All TCS families are invited to join us for The Christ School Graduation Ceremony tomorrow, Thursday, May 26, at 2:00 p.m. in the FPCO sanctuary. Graduation is a special time at The Christ School. All TCS students will attend the graduation ceremony. This is a dress uniform day for students in 1st - 7th grades. The ceremony will conclude in time for carpool at 3:15 p.m. A reception honoring our graduates and their parents will be held immediately following the ceremony in Lee Fellowship Hall.
 
School's Out - Early Dismissal This Friday
This Friday, May 27, is the last day of school for the 2015-16 school year! Carpool for lower school students will run from 12:20 to 12:35 p.m. Carpool for middle school students will run from 12:35 to 12:50 p.m. The Christ School offices will close at 1:00 p.m. on Friday


Casual Day This Friday
This Friday is a casual day! All students, with the exception of kindergarten, are permitted to wear casual clothing to school. Be sure to adhere to the guidelines for casual dress. Kindergarten students will wear their dress uniforms for their Moving On ceremony, which will be held Friday morning from 8:45 to 9:30. 
 
RenWeb Accounts
All 2015-16 RenWeb account balances must be paid in full by 12:00 p.m. this Friday, May 27 RenWeb ParentsWeb access will be closed for all accounts with unpaid balances. Please direct any questions to Margaret Peebles or Bill Herlong.
 
Yearbook Gift
To celebrate The Christ School's 20th year, the 2016 Yearbook Staff has prepared a special gift. You are now able to view the 2016 yearbook on your smart phone or tablet by downloading Herff Jones Plus One, the new digital yearbook app. Available at no charge on Google Play and in the App Store, the Plus One app lets you view a mobile/tablet version of our yearbook. Sign up with our school name, your last name and a student ID. (Student ID information will be sent home this week in backpacks.)  Happy 20th Anniversary from your TCS Yearbook Staff!
 
International Fare
Third grade students have been researching and exploring the history, geography, and unique culture of countries across the globeThey culminated their studies with an International "Fare" on May 19. At the Fare, they shared their knowledge of the individual countries they studied as they displayed their project boards, donned fashions and costumes, and served fare from the countries they researched.
 
Egg Drop
8th grade science students were challenged to design a structure that will protect an egg from cracking when dropped 3 stories.  The students used their creativity as they fashioned parachutes and pillows, and even tried to cushion the impact with peanut butter! The activity incorporated lessons they learned throughout the year about physics and motion as they tried to cushion the fall and save their egg. 
 
We've Got "PRIDE" on our Side!
The Leadership417 8th grade wheel benefitted from the spiritual wisdom of Orlando Pride player, Leah Fortune. Leah spoke eloquently to the girls about how they can use their faith to grow as leaders. Tuition Payments 
Tuition payments for the 2016-17 school year are due soon. For those who elected to pay tuition by paper check with either the one or two payment plans, please deliver your check to The Christ School office no later than next Wednesday, June 1. All monthly tuition payment plans for 2016-17 will begin on June 5. Summer in the City 
Registration for Summer in the City, held weekdays, June 6 - July 1, closes this Friday, May 27. The first week of camp, Summer Celebration, is sold out.  Limited space is available in the remaining three camps. Be sure to register your child(ren) so they won't miss out on the summer fun!  Visit our website for details and to register.  
 
Lions'SportsLogo Lions' Sports Update
Middle school athletes, please check your closets for any TCS middle school sports uniforms. Uniforms should be returned in a bag marked with your name to The Christ School office.
