This Month in Chapel
Our Chapel theme for April is Because He Loves us. "Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love." 1 John 4:8.  Parents are welcome to attend chapel. Seating is reserved for parents behind the students and in the balcony.   

 

Father Daughter Dance

April 5, 2014, 7 - 9 pm  

You can still RSVP through Friday for the Father Daughter Dance, held at the Loch Haven Neighborhood Center. Checks will be accepted the night of event. Dads, uncles, grandfathers, and family friends are welcome to escort our young ladies. For questions, contact event chair Lynne Clark.
 

Spring Book Fair

Ready to stock up on books for the summer? Join us April 7-11 for the Spring Book Fair. The fair is open for extended hours on  Wednesday, April 9. Students will visit the Book Fair with their classes during the week. Families will have the opportunity to...   

 
Learn from an Expert
TCS Kindergarten teacher Susan Dodgion presents a Kindergarten Chat on Thursday, April 10, 9:00 am in the Library and Media Center. She will discuss developmentally sound exercises for parents to engage in with their children as they prepare for kindergarten. We encourage you to invite friends who may benefit from this informative discussion.  RSVP to Nicole Millard. 
 

Night of the Arts

Come and see the masterpieces created by our talented Lions. Enjoy performances by the 4th & 5th Grade Choir and Middle School Praise Band. To volunteer, please contact event chair Cindy Carnes.

Peter and the Wolf 

Join The Christ School at the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra's free concert: Peter and the Wolf and Other Musical Stories on Saturday, April 12 in Loch Haven Park. Show your TCS spirit! Wear your TCS colors and stop by our booth for a face-paint paw print.  This event includes food trucks and an instrument petting zoo beginning at 4:30 pm, along with... 

 

Spring Fling 
On Friday, April 25, students will enjoy an afternoon of fun, festivities and one highly anticipated middle school vs. faculty volleyball match!  Parents will receive information soon regarding how they can help make April 25 "the best day ever."

Lions' Sports Update  

Middle School athletes and families - mark your calendars for our 2014 Sports Celebration, held on Tuesday, April 29 at 5:30 pm in Lee Fellowship Hall. Enjoy barbeque, raffles, awards and fellowship.  It's time to celebrate our Lions!
