Early Sibling Application Deadline is December 16!

NEW in 2014 - Transitional Kindergarten
A Transitional Kindergarten is a class for students who are age appropriate for kindergarten but who exhibit younger developmental tendencies that may interfere with a successful academic kindergarten experience. Students must be 5 years old by September 1 to participate. Contact Nicole Millard for more information.
 
8th Grade Attends Physics Day 

8th grade students traveled to Tampa to participate in the annual Physics Day at Busch Gardens. Our students had one hour of exclusive park ride time and were able to participate in interactive physics stations located around the park. This trip was the culminating activity for a unit on Force and Motion in 8th grade Physical Science.

This Month in Enrichment
TCS Enrichment students are creating marble runs out of toilet paper/paper towel rolls. Their models will be designed and built on uneven bases with popsicle sticks as support. Please send in your toilet paper/paper towel rolls to Mrs. Gibbs to help with this project.

Congratulations to Connor Fields, Helen Hardy, Sam Williamson, Jordan Miller and Sara Huggins who were all inducted into the National Honor Society at Edgewater High School. Congratulations to Thomas Pinel on his acceptance to Wake Forest University. Thomas is captain of the Edgewater crew team and has maintained a 4.0 for the past two years.  Way to go, Lions!
