Friday is Family Movie Night!

TCS families and friends are invited to a special showing of The Sandlot (rated PG), Friday, October 4, 7:30 p.m. on the green space. TCS Dads will provide the movie, you provide the blankets and snacks. To learn more about the Dads' Team, or to help at the event, contact Tom Eastwood. Hope to see you there!

TCS Fall Book Fair is Coming Soon

The Christ School Fall Book Fair will be held October 14 -18 in room B12 (near the Library & Media Center.) Join your child during scheduled class visits or other times throughout the week. The full schedule will be available soon. Younger siblings, grandparents and friends are welcome.

Love and Logic Parenting Series

TCS Parents: Limited space is still available for the Love and Logic Institute's "Parenting the Love and Logic Way" facilitated by Amber Lail, The Christ School's Lower School Director. Middle School Students Visit First Grade

Recently, the first grade students ended their language arts unit on Pets with a reading of Mr. Putter and Tabby Feed the Fish by Cynthia Rylant. They were joined by Middle School students who helped them create "stained glass fish bowls" to compliment the story. These shared activities allow our older students to be hands-on role models for our younger lions.

Library & Media Center Volunteers

If you enjoy books, then there is a place for you as a TCS Library & Media Center volunteer. There are opportunities for reading to students, shelving books, and other special projects. If you are interested, please contact Katie Segrest, Library & Media Center Coordinator. Parents, grandparents and friends are welcome.

Alumni News

Congratulations to Chas Wilson and Jordan Ellis who were elected President and Vice President, respectfully, of the Edgewater High School Sophomore SGA. Chas and Jordan are TCS Class of 2012 alumni. Lions serving and leading together!

Lions' Sports Update

Congratulations to our Boys' and Girls' Cross Country teams for a great championship performance on Monday! Our teams placed third in the field, Alexa Long placed 12th and Danny Ruach placed 5th overall. Way to go!
