Love and Logic Parent Series
TCS parents are encouraged to register for the Love and Logic Institute's "Parenting the Love and Logic Way" facilitated by Amber Lail, The Christ School's Lower School Director.  This amazing 6 session parenting series is tailored for families with children in pre-school through middle school.  Read more...
 
We did it!
The Christ School Faculty and Staff reached their 100% participation goal for this year's Annual Fund Campaign! "This is just another way to demonstrate the value we place on this precious school," said Kathy Whitman, 5th grade teacher and Campaign Chair.  We did it for our students and encourage all of our parents to join us and commit to the 2013-14 Annual Fund Campaign.
 
First and Fourth Grade Writing Buddies
Mrs. Fatizzi's 1st grade students have been writing opinion reports about their favorite pets. Students used a graphic organizer to help organize ideas. Their 4th grade writing buddies visited and helped them edit their rough drafts. Students also created artwork of their pet to adorn their report. What fun!
 
Beefy King Lunches - Two Special Days!

On Friday, September 20, and Friday, October 4, the 6th grade class will be selling Beefy King roast beef sandwiches with chips and fruit for $5!  6th grade is working to raise funds for their One Great Day of Service project with Children of the Nations.  Simply send $5 with your child and lunch will be provided. Family Movie Night is Back!

TCS families and friends are invited to a special showing of The Sandlot (rated PG), Friday, October 4, 7:30 p.m. on the green space. TCS Dads will provide the movie, you provide the blankets and snacks. To learn more about the Dads' Team, or to help at the event, contact Tom Eastwood.

 
PTF Spirit Bible Study for Women

TCS women and friends are invited for a 6 week Bible study of Kelly Minter's "Ruth: Loss, Love & Legacy". Join us Wednesday mornings, 8:30-10:00 a.m. or Wednesday evenings 7:00-9:00 p.m. starting September 25. Read more...

 
Sports Practices and After Care Pick Up
Beginning Tuesday, September 17, Edington Way will be open daily at 5:00 p.m. for TCS Sports Pickup. Parents picking up from practices may park on Edington Way in front of Clayton Life Center (Gym). Please note: the right lane of Edington Way is the active traffic lane and cannot be blocked. After Care parents should park under the Angel Wing as close to Church Street as possible.
