Faculty and Staff Return to Campus
The Christ School Faculty and Staff returned to campus today to begin planning for the new school year. There was time for prayer and devotions, introductions of new team members, and reflections from 2012-13.  Teachers, staff and administrators also spent time preparing for the upcoming school year and are excited to welcome your children to campus!
 
Meet the Teacher - Friday, August 16 Updated Schedule: 
3:30 p.m. Middle School Orientation in Reformation Chapel
4:00 to 5:30 p.m. On-campus Background Checks
4:00 to 6:00 p.m. All Grades - meet your teacher in the classroom
4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Lions Sports Connect - Allen Hall lobby
Please note: there will not be a dinner after Meet the Teacher
 
Parents, Save the Date for Open House
Thursday, September 5
The evening will begin at 6:30 p.m. in the FPCO Sanctuary with a presentation by Head of School, Jason Powell, Ed.D. and TCS Board Chair, Charles Cook. Following the presentation, visit your child's classroom to learn more about expectations for the upcoming school year. Please note, Open House is for parents only.
 
RenWeb News
Good news from RenWeb!  Recently, RenWeb announced the launch of RenWeb Portal - the new browser-based version of RenWeb that supports both PCs and Macs, including Internet Explorer, Firefox and Chrome on Windows PCs, and Firefox and Safari on Macs.  Stay tuned for more details.
 
NEW This Year in Afternoon Carpool 
The Weekday School will have an Extended Care carpool this year until 3:10 p.m. each day.  Considering that our carpool begins at 3:15 p.m. each day, we ask that you not drive onto campus prior to 3:10 p.m. If you enter the carpool line before this time, you will be in the WDS carpool and will have to wait to cycle through onto Church St. and circle back to enter after 3:10 p.m.  Thank you for your understanding. 
 
New Extended Care Hours for 2013-14
The Christ School Extended Care program hours have been expanded! Our morning program will be offered from 7:00 a.m. - 7:50 a.m. and after school hours have been extended to 6:00 p.m.  Each child who participates in Extended Care must be pre-registered. For more information please contact Linsy Joyner at 407-849-1665.

Please join us for Lions Sports Connect on Friday, August 16, 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. during Meet the Teacher. Sign up early for our fall sports and be ahead of the game!  Middle school students - remember to get your FHSAA paperwork turned in!
