Walking Lunch: Second Grade Meets Mayor Dyer
Each Wednesday TCS 2nd grade students leave school campus for lunch and a little play time with friends and chaperones. Last Wednesday, while enjoying the outdoors in the courtyard at the SunTrust building, Mayor Buddy Dyer stopped by to say hello. |

2013 Sibling Enrollment
Applications for siblings of current TCS students are now being accepted. Kindergarten assessments will be held on January 26th and February 9th and are scheduled upon receipt of an application. First through 8th grade sibling assessments are individually scheduled. Enrollment for the general public will actively begin at our Open House on January 24, 2013. Please contact Nicole Millard before this date to participate in sibling early registration. |

Second through 5th Grade Students Perform Light of the World this Thursday

Middle School Food Drive Continues Through Friday
Thanks to everyone who sent in canned and non-perishable food for our middle school food drive. We are collecting donations for our Central Florida neighbors in need until Friday, December 14th. Our middle school advisory groups plan to use the food for an activity on Friday the 14th before Second Harvest Food Bank arrives to collect our families' contributions. |

Bring Home Championship
Three TCS 2nd graders won the 8 and under division flag football championship with Flag Football 4 Fun league. Help us congratulate our rising football stars: Johnny Blastic, Hunter Coleman, and Gregory Yeates.They displayed a sense of fairness, hard work, and commitment throughout the season. |
TCS Performers Shine in The Little Mermaid Jr.
Two TCS budding stage performers played roles in The Orlando Repertory Theatre's The Little Mermaid Jr. Eighth grade student, Emma Ausen, played Ursula and 4th grade student, Ashlyn MacNichol, played Ocean and was in the Ensemble. The shared experience created a lasting friendship between the two girls that continues at school. Ashlyn now says that Emma is the big sister that she never had. Both girls plan to audition for The Orlando Repertory's upcoming production of Honk Jr. Congratulations to Emma and Ashlyn for their dedication to the arts.
