This modular L-Plate mates beautifully with the new NEX-6 camera. This custom L-plate was designed to fit Sony NEX-6's ultra-thin body as snugly as possible, but still make room for opening and positioning its LCD panel. The gap below the LCD screen provides clearance for the screen to be tilted up or down; with L-plate installed, you can still hold the camera over your head and swivel the screen so that it can be seen from below. This modular approach is only available from Really Right Stuff. |

RRS Crew on a Santa Cruz Photowalk
In case you couldn't tell, people working at Really Right Stuff are into photography. So when word of a Santa Cruz Photowalk put together by Barry Blanchard came through the office, our gear gurus Mark Gvazdinskas and Jim Weise set out to grab some stunning photographs, and show off what some RRS gear can do.

"Yesterday was another marathon--we got on the road at 2:30AM to hit Santa Cruz and Natural Bridges for sunrise. We spent the afternoon in the redwoods and ended up catching an amazing sunset in Davenport. I could get used to Santa Cruz." — Mark G.

"More than a dozen tripods and their operators watched as this glory unfolded before us, bathing the rocks and water in a stormy-looking glow for what seemed like hours. I had time to move (carefully on the slick rock) to 3 or 4 positions within that time, grabbing any angle I could.
The thrill of that sunset will be with me for a while." — Jim Weise
