Dear Angel Fund Family,

We've been busy with many events over the past few months that have helped create awareness for ALS and raise much need funds for research.

Whether it was kicking a soccer ball, walking or running a few miles, chuckling at a comedy night or "cheering" on a successful event, the support from thousands of you has been amazing!

We're not finished yet! The Annual Gala is coming up, as is the Jimmie Neil Softball Game, The Walk of Hope for ALS, 100 Innings of Baseball, a night at Bella Luna and golf tournaments - all to benefit ALS research.

With the help of our supporters, we have given millions of dollars to Dr. Brown's ALS research. You can check out the latest research information that The Angel Fund has helped to fund.

Please support one (or all) by sponsoring or attending the upcoming events. For those whose have supported the last few events and have donated to The Angel Fund, we are truly grateful for your support and look forward to seeing you soon.

Sincerely,
Chief Development Officer

Walk of Hope for ALS
September 7th

The 12th Annual Walk of Hope for ALS begins and ends on Wakefield's lower Common, on the shores of beautiful Lake Quannapowitt on Saturday, September 7th. The 3.5-mile level route runs parallel to the lake, providing a picturesque walk for walkers of all ages and abilities.

Gather friends and family to form a team...raise money through pledges and donations ... and participate in activities on the Common!

Refreshments will be available for all walkers at the conclusion of the walk.

The event benefits Dr. Robert H. Brown's ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease) research at the Cecil B. Day Neuromuscular Lab at the UMass Medical Center in Worcester.

We encourage you to join in this celebration of hope by walking and raising money for those who are living with ALS, or in memory of those who are no longer with us.

Registration begins at 9 a.m. and the Walk begins at 11:00 a.m. Be sure to join us before the Walk for the release of doves.

If you would like to volunteer at the Walk click here.
