Boston Cream Pie Fundraiser  TASTINGS LOVES BOSTON
 
Last Wednesday evening we raised over $1,000 for the victims of the Boston Marathon bombings and that will be matched by the Kraft Family. Chef Lacy wants to continue to show our solidarity with Boston.
  
To that end, from now until the end of April, we will donate $5 for every sale of Chef Lacy's amazing Boston Cream Pie.  So if you want to help the cause and enjoy an amazingly delicious take on traditional Boston Cream Pie, head into Tastings and order one before the end of April.

6:30 TO 8:30PM, $20PP
 
You are not going to want to miss our 2013 WineFest.  We'll have representatives from five wine distributors or importers that will be pouring between 4 to 6 of their most interesting wines from their portfolios.  This is a great opportunity for you to learn about 20 to 30 wines from experts in the field.
  
Chef Lacy will also have some interesting "bites" to enjoy along with the wines.

Tastings' "Manhattan Project"
What does Silver Oak Cellars have to do with Sazerac Rye, Carpano Antica Sweet Vermouth, and Angostura Bitters (USA) you ask? Our friends from Silver Oak shipped us a recently retired oak barrerl from their winery in Napa Valley. Last week marked the official start of our Barrel Aged Cocktail Program where we will age a Rye Manhattan for 60 days in a used Silver Oak barrel that aged one of America's greatest Cabs. The result will be a never before tasted combination of complex, rich, layered flavors that are sure to excite your palate.
 
Stay tuned for details on our "Manhattan Project" Release Party where we will be offering barrel samples of this amazing concoction.  Just another little out of the ordinary touch from your friends at Tasting.

Tower Garden    COMING SOON: TASTINGS IS GOING 
HYPER LOCAL
 
We've establisheda hard-earned reputation for bringing you the absolutely freshest produce from local farms, including our very own garden at the Healthy Starts Community Garden in Mansfield.  This Spring and Summer we are going to get even more local.  In fact.... we are going HYPER-LOCAL !  Watch for construction to begin shortly out in the plaza in front of our patio.  In partnership with Patriot Place, you'll see the beginning of Tastings' Tower Garden where we will be growing produce, herbs and flowers just steps from Chef Lacy's kitchen.  Stay tuned for more new and details on this exciting new development at Patriot Place.
