REGISTRATION CLOSING FOR RIVERSIDE COLOR ME HEALTHY 5K

 

Color RunSaturday May 4, the Richmond County YMCA and Riverside Hospital join forces to celebrate health with lots of color!

 

Interested participants must register by April 30.  The 5K fun run/walk starting at Warsaw Town Park takes participants through the heart of Warsaw while passing by 5 color stations along the way.

DIGGITY DUDES TO HEADLINE YMCA HEALTHY KIDS DAY
Diggity DudesRiverside Tappahannock Hospital and the Richmond County YMCA are thrilled to bring the Diggity Dudes to the Warsaw Town Park on Saturday May 4 for YMCA Healthy Kids Day.
  
The Diggity Dudes play hip music for hip kids and their equally hip parents.  A typical set covers everything from pet rocks to disco moves to science experiments to presidential physical fitness, all delivered via ultra-catchy melodies over funky and danceable grooves.  The Diggity Dudes will play 2 forty-five minute sets at 10 am and 12 noon.
 
YMCA Healthy Kids Day is a free community event that will feature moon bounces, a family obstacle course, K-9 demonstrations, and lots of free giveaways and great information from doctors, dentists, churches, fire department, rescue squad and so much more.
SOFTBALL CAMP NOW REGISTERING

softball campThe YMCA annual Complete Game Softball Camp provides girls ages, 8 to 15 a fun-filled four days of softball instruction.

 

Camp features daily devotions, games and contests, prizes, camper shirts and more. 

 

Instruction is provided by current and former collegiate players from the schools like South Carolina, Kentucky, Tennessee, Norfolk State, Virginia Tech and others.  The camp will be held at old Richmond County Little League from June 17 to June 20, from 9 am to 2 pm each day.
