Kick off your holiday shopping early, show support for your Y and celebrate premiere artists from Hampton Roads. Join us on Saturday, November 10th 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Hampton Y for the Artsy Party!
Local artists will be selling fabulous art, glass, photography, jewelry, pottery, gourmet goodies, flowers and one-of-a-kind gifts. A portion of all sales will benefit the Hampton Family YMCA's Strong Communities Campaign.

| FAMILY VOLUNTEER NIGHT | |

Please help the YMCA feed the less fortunate in our local community by donating to our annual Thanksgiving food drive. Our goal this year is to serve 150 families with boxes of food containing the items for a great holiday dinner. Consider giving your support to these families by volunteering your time on Thursday, November 15th or by donating food items such as:
- Canned fruit and vegetables
 - Chicken broth
- Boxed stuffing
- Rice
- Bagged sugar
- Muffin mixes
- Canned gravy
- Macaroni and cheese
- Insant mashed potatoes
- Bisquick or store-brand baking mix
- Canned evaporated milk
- Ramen noodles
- Cereal
- Peanut butter
- $10 or $15 gift cards to local grocery stores for turkeys

COLISEUM CENTRAL HOLIDAY PARADE | |

We are excited to participate in this year's Coliseum Central Holiday Parade! We'd love for Members and Program Participants to walk with us on Saturday, November 17th at 9:30 AM. Or if you'd like to help out behind the scenes, let your inner artist out by decorating the float with us in the weeks before the parade.

| UPCOMING SPORTS PROGRAMS | |

Girls Field Hockey Clinic: Girls 7-12 years old learn stick skills, ball handling, and sports rules through fun, game-oriented activities from trained Field Hockey coaches. Clinics meet Tuesdays 6:00 to 7:00 PM, November 13th through December 11th. Cost is $35 for Members, $55 for Program Participants; register online or at the Welcome Center.
Youth Indoor Soccer: This co-ed league provides an opportunity for advanced competition. League focus remains on YMCA core values and producing good sportsmanship. Participants can register as a team or as an individual until Wednesday, November 7th; cost is $35 for Members, $50 for Program Participants. |

Please help welcome the Kecoughtan High School Swim Team and the SEVA Swim Team to the Hampton Family YMCA's pool starting in November. Be sure to check the pool schedule online or at the Welcome Center for available lap swim and open swim times.
Also, we are proud to host the Winter Invitational Swim Meet on Saturday, December 8th, 2012. We want to give everyone advanced notice that the Aquatics Center will be closed that day for the event. |
