Highlights: 

The latest ONS figures show construction output in February 2015 decreased by 0.9% compared with January 2015. The CPA do not agree with these figures, as they are not supported by a wide range of construction surveys, which all indicate growth in January and February. The CPA construction industry spring forecasts expect an increase in construction output of 5.5% in 2015.

Eric Pickles, in his Planning update, confirmed that the Code for Sustainable Homes has been withdrawn. The Government have announced an extra £3m funding for low carbon heat networks to be awarded to 55 councils across England and Wales.  

 

The NBS have launched their new BIM Toolkit. The top 500 influencers and players active on Twitter in BIM has been published by McClelland Media Ltd, in association with CIBSE. Craig Sewell asks in his blog: Why Do Specifiers Ignore Your BIM Content?
