What is destined to become one of Toronto's truly iconic 21st century condominium towers will soon ascend 56 storeys at 2221 Yonge Street. Emerging from a podium that meshes seamlessly with the Yonge/Eglinton streetscape, it's a tower with a decidedly modern pedigree.

Thin, sleek, almost feline, 2221 YONGE's "look" is inspired by the most influential design movement of the last hundred years: International Style Modernism. The beauty of a leaseback program is the security of knowing that your suite will be rented out for you by the developer for a period of 3 years. No stress for you! You have peace of mind with 3 years of positive cash flow plus you are building equity through mortgage payments. In a robust market like Toronto your asset could well appreciate over the same 3 year period.

Here We Grow Again - by Salimah Kassim-Lakha

March 21, 2014 I walked out of the office tower with a huge smile and a bag full of memories. So far retired life has been amazing. By retired I mean my day now belongs to me, my focus and direction are my own choosing, my priorities are clear and I have the time to dream bigger than ever. Everyday feels like Saturday.

Preparing to open YogaVision Centre has been a lifetime in the making. The step-by-step, hour to hour activities are unfolding with speed and precision. I serve myself best when i imagine the best possible outcome and expect just that. I have my meditations to thank for that.

What's New on MyBindi!

Interview: Madhur Jaffrey
'Today's Special' Actress Madhur Jaffrey discusses Food on Film By Habiba Ahmad

In many cases, food is one of the most symbolic representations of a society. Thus, when you live in a multicultural society, there's no doubt the many influences (be it via cuisines) will have some impact on one's identity and values.

Culinary comedy, Today's Special explores this connection between food and culture and how it's important to find a balance between tradition and newly adopted customs.

MyBindi's Habiba Ahmad chatted with award-winning actress, best-selling author, and authority on Indian cuisine, Madhur Jaffrey on her love of food & films.

Today's Special' highlights one man's appreciation for his own culture in a Western society. How important do you think it is to find that balance when faced with multiple identities?

I think you eventually have to find out who you are and even while you're sort of searching I think you are going through different stages. In my case, when you first come to another country you are very much the country you came from. But the new country begins to take over, in my case it isn't that I didn't know enough about America, I knew a lot about America, there was nothing in that sense to learn. But I found very slowly my language began to change. My pronunciation was changing, the new words I was learning I was saying the American way like 'schedule' I never had the reason to use the word 'schedule' in India but things like that slowly began to change.
