MyBindi Weekly Newsletter
Editorial
February 20, 2014

Welcome to another edition of MyBindi's newsletter.

First of all, can we all just take a moment and rejoice at the awesomeness of our Canadian athletes.  The viral sphere is abuzz about Canada's spectacular achievements at the Winter Olympics in Sochi.  They make us all SOO Proud!  Well done Canada!

This calls for a celebration and why not do it Bollywood style at the legendary Bombay Nights this Saturday at Hard Rock Cafe. Speaking of Bombay Nights, I should also take a minute to congratulate the co-founder of Bombay Nights, Amar Ahlawat on his marriage to the lovely Gunjan Goel.  Congratulations Amar and Gunjan! :)

Also deserving congratulations, is the very talented Anita Majumdar who returns to stage with "Same Same but Different" at Theatre Passe Muraille.  I first saw Anita in her debut act at the Toronto Fringe Festival where she launched Fish Eyes (or rather where Fish Eyes launched her). Since then, she has toured the country with her plays and enthralled us with her performances on stage and in film.  We're so proud of you! You can check out Same Same but Different from now until March 8.  See details below.

That's all from me, I'm back to cheering for Team Canada! :)
