I arrived in Canada in 1998, as a new immigrant, armed with my law qualifications thinking I would just slide into the legal profession.  After all, my degree in Law was from the prestigious University of London in the UK.

I could not have been more wrong.  I had to go back to law school in Canada just to get a Certificate of Equivalency from a Canadian law school.  Like all professions, legal professionals face their own set of challenges to integrate into the Canadian work force.

That's why MyBindi is so proud to support CultureLink's Information Interview Night (it's tonight!!) for Legal Professionals.  See details below.

We all know the best way to find career opportunities or even make friends is to network.  NetIP Toronto is committed to the advancement of South Asian Professionals and they're hosting their first networking event of 2014 (and that's tonight as well!!).  I hope you've already registered because when I last checked they were fully booked.  Not surprising since there's no cost to register and it includes food and refreshments.  Be sure to sign up for upcoming NetIP events so as to not be disappointed in future.

And if you're mad at me for not giving you enough notice, here's an event that's happening NEXT week and there's still time for you to register.  CAMP is hosting a networking event with entrepreneur and motivational speaker Emmanuel Lopez! This is also a FREE event so hurry up and register.  See details below.

See you next month when we will be back in your inbox!
