Make the Call!
Today, I spoke to a woman who said that she doesn't want to reach out for help because if her husband found out that she contacted Social Services, it may jeopardize their chances of working out their rocky marriage. In a country abound with laws and services to support women in difficult situations; I am always disappointed but, not surprised when I hear such comments.
Women in our culture are raised with the idea that when you get married, you have to make it work - good or bad.

Animals have hooves, horns, claws and teeth. Humans have intuition.
Your centre of intuition is located in a little gland right behind your brow point. The pituitary gland regulates all of the other glands and hormones in the body. When the hormonal system is working optimally, you have a heightened sense of awareness and clarity.
To focus on your third eye, close your eyes and roll your eyes to the space just between your eyes brows and slightly above. Take a deep breath and check in. Ask your self that pressing question. Stay still until you hear the answer. Inhale and exhale powerfully through your nose and relax.
Seasons Greetings! I was recently watching the Nate Berkus Show (a re-run on OWN now!) and he had a guest expert on who made a statement that gave me quite the 'A-HA!' moment and I wanted to share it with you in this short, but sweet blog post!
The wisdom was given to a woman who had so much on her plate and not enough time to organize her home office! Design dilemma aside, the guest expert said to her very plain and simple: "Every Yes is a No and Every No is a Yes".
What does it mean? It means everytime you say YES to something, you are saying NO to something else. Meaning, if you keep saying Yes to every offer and every opportunity that comes into your life ...
Re-ignite your dreams and gain confidence with The Power of ACE. Author and speaker Murali Murthy introduces a set of tools, resources, and services geared towards helping people achieve unprecedented success in every facet of their lives.
The first installment of a three book series, The ACE Principle offers readers 15 Success Principles to Absorb, Comprehend and Excel in every area of life. The ACE Principle teaches readers to:

Bollywood songs have always played an integral part and the most popular ones have been played repeatedly in clubs, parties and Indian weddings. 2012 has been a good year for the music lovers. It all started with Katrina's grooviest 'Chikni Chameli'. A remake of a Marathi song, composers Ajay-Atul's special touch to the Item number made it one of the chartbusters for the party rockers. While Chikni Chameli was a foot tapping, other popular songs of 2012 are soulful, romantic and some also have comical touch. So, before we say good bye to 2012 and welcome to 2013, we list before you top 10 Bollywood songs of 2012 based on popularity:
Chikni Chameli (Agneepath): Katrina's electrifying Chikni Chameli grooves remind you of Helen's Mungda item number. But the dance number in itself is very raw, rustic and universally appealing.

These Bollywood bombshells have entertained us over the years being a sexy siren, romancing the heroes on-screen and wooing the most macho man around.
One would expect them to have an envious love life being swiped away by their prince charming.
But on the contrary these leading ladies are married to their career, as for the men, they have to wait.
These single ladies are a force to reckon with, they have their share of fun and they revel in their singledom and together they make a powerful single ladies club in Bollywood.

The more I travel the more similarities I see between cultures. During my trip to Europe and Turkey this fall, I came across traditional Arabic desserts, snacks and drinks that looked and tasted very much like their Indian counterparts. Of course, with India's ancient history with the Mughal empire, a crossover was bound to happen.
