We are also seeking volunteers for our Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program!

Volunteers are needed to serve as greeters for this year's tax season. Greeters need to be dependable, well organized and mild-mannered. Each volunteer will be required to take a short ethics test based on IRS materials provided. Our VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) program will be held on all Mondays and four Tuesdays, from February 2 through April 13, at the Chapel Hill Public Library. No knowledge of tax preparation or tax law is needed. Training will be provided. Volunteer shifts are 8:30am-12:30pm and 12:30pm-4:30pm. Several shifts are still available.

Email vita@compassctr.org for more information.
