We had several people respond with confusion to our piece about crimping wire rope sleeves. We hope the following diagrams help clear things up.

The simple description of swaging order is that you want to either crimp from one end of the sleeve to the other or start in the middle and work out so the sleeve material is pressed smoothly. You do NOT want to crimp in an order where you create a "bubble" between two crimps.
