Happy New Year!!

Greetings all.  Happy New Year and all that jazz.  It's traditional at this time of year to offer good wishes for peace, happiness, prosperity and adventure.  (I added the adventure part because I think we all need a little bit of that in our lives too). So who am I to argue with tradition?

All of us here at Sapsis Rigging wish you all the best for 2015.  If there's anything we can do for you and it doesn't break any laws (legal or physical) then please don't hesitate to give us a call.

Now back to the party.....

The Midmer-Losh Pipe Organ

Sapsis Rigging is proud to have been chosen to help with the restoration of the
Midmer-Losh Pipe Organ.  It's the largest pipe organ in the world and lives in the Atlantic City Convention Hall.  The project was featured on the program
Ultimate Restorations and you can catch a glimpse of some of the Sapsis crew at work in this YouTube video.

Sapsis Rigging performed similar services on the Auditorium Pipe Organ in Ocean Grove NJ, the Wanamaker Organ at Macy's in Philadelphia, and the Great Organ, built by the Ernest M Skinner Company in 1910 which resides in the Cathedral of St. John the Divine in New York City.

Farewell

In the "Good News/Bad News" department, our Sales Manager, Ildelis Cruz, whom many of you have come to know here at SRI, is leaving us.  The good news is that she's going off on a new adventure.  The bad news is that we'll all miss her.  Ildelis started with us 17 years ago.  Over the years she married and began a family, along with developing her family of friends and clients here at SRI.  I know you will all join with me in wishing her the best of luck in following her dreams.

The Long Reach Long Riders
are pleased to announce the route for their 12th annual charity motorcycle ride.

This year's ride has been dubbed "Cruzin' the Ozarks, The Dozenth' Year." Riders will gather in Nashville, Tennessee, ride down the bucolic Natchez Trace toward the Ozark Mountains in Arkansas and Missouri and then circle back and pass through the Land Between the Lakes on their return to Nashville.  The route will feature day rides venturing deep into the Ozarks, departing from picturesque Petit Jean State Park.  Experienced riders know these roads as some of the best riding in the country, including the 'Pig Trail Parkway', 'Ozark Dragon', and the 'Arkansas Grand Canyon'.

The ride begins in Nashville on Sunday, May 31st and ends on Sunday, June 7th with the traditional meet and greet on Saturday, May 30th. Ride Marshalls this year will be Mark 'Hobnail' Heiser and Alison 'Earth Girl' Heiser.  "This is the first time the group has been to this part of the country", noted Mark "and we're looking forward to the adventure". Alison added, "We're hoping to meet lots of folks along the way and that riders from the area will join us to help raise awareness for these two important industry charities".

LRLRThe Long Reach Long Riders have been raising money for Broadway

Cares/Equity Fights AIDS and the PLASA Foundation's Behind the Scenes program since 2004.  In the first eleven years the group has raised over $450,000.00.

Bill Sapsis, one of the founding members observed, "A one time ride has become an annual event and we're honored to support these two very worthwhile organizations".
