The ET Batavia Sprint Distance Triathlon and Duathlon, a USAT sanctioned event, marks its 12th running in 2015.
Our 400 meter swim takes place in the Harold Hall Quarry Beach using a time trial start - 3 seconds between competitors. Our duathlon starts with a 2.0 mile run on the Fox River Trail.
The triathlon and duathlon bike course is a 14.7 mile route with rolling terrain and scenic prairie views.
The 4.1 mile run for both events is flat, fast and shaded, winding along the Fox River Trail with wonderful vistas of the Fox River as you race. Many athletes feel it's one of the best tri/du run courses in the area!
We finish up our day with a fantastic post race party that includes free pizza, beer, music, a raffle and age group awards ceremony.
